Center Stage Build Academy, Inc. exists to identify young people with creative passion and potential and provide access to the instruments, mentorship, education, studio experiences, and opportunities they may not otherwise have.
Our mission is simple:
FIND THE PASSION. REMOVE THE BARRIERS. CREATE THE OPPORTUNITY.
We believe talent should never be determined by a family's income, ZIP code, school budget, or access to the right connections.
Somewhere right now, a young person is writing their first song without an instrument.
Someone is singing who has never stepped behind a professional microphone.
Someone is making beats on a phone because it's the only equipment available.
And someone with incredible potential may never discover how far they can go simply because nobody opened the first door.
We want to open that door.
ACCESS
We help remove financial and logistical barriers by connecting young creatives with instruments, repairs, lessons, equipment, technology, studio time, workshops, and other creative resources.
MENTORSHIP
Access to equipment matters. Access to people matters even more.
We connect youth with musicians, producers, songwriters, educators, engineers, creatives, and community leaders who can teach, encourage, challenge, and inspire them.
EXPERIENCE
We want young people creating — not simply watching from the sidelines.
Through recording sessions, workshops, songwriting, production, rehearsals, performances, and collaborative projects, participants can experience what it means to take an idea and turn it into something real.
OPPORTUNITY
Every program should lead somewhere.
Whether that means performing their first song, recording their first project, mastering an instrument, discovering a career path, or simply developing confidence, our goal is to help each participant recognize:
